Hopped on Logos Hope

As advised you earlier on the previous post that there will be a world largest floating book fair in Penang starting on 31st August until 25th September, 2011.

And......

Here i am... On the ship.. Surrounded with BOOKS! I love it so much... ^______^

I went there with my brother and i bet you, it's WORTH.. The place is not only for the geeks, but i'm pretty sure that you'll find something interesting there, such as...

1. Books (of course)
2. Knowledge
3. Friends (from different countries)
4. Experience
5. Relax (with the environment)

And the most important thing is.. SATISFACTION.. I got it all there, i enjoyed my reading, chatting, and trust me, it's not a waste if you purchase some of the books because besides for your own good, with every peny that you spend will be handed to those who needed..

Ok! Back to the ship.. Entrance fee is only RM1 per person except for children below 12 years old, it's FREE.. Once you have your ticket, they will provide you a handbook for your easy reference..

The first hall is a place where the history begins.. There will be a 2 minutes short briefing regarding the ship and activities handled by one of the staff (all staffs here are the volunteer from all over the world).. Dont worry, they are very friendly and always greet us with smile.. :-))

Now come the main space.. Wow! There are lots of books with a really huge collection for us to choose (i'm drowning for 10 seconds).. At this point, quickly grab a basket and take whatever you like.. Guess what, the price is consider CHEAP compared to any other bookstores in Penang.. They applied easy currency converter which every 100 units equal to RM8.. There is a list of units where you can refer to and i tell you what, the most expensive book is ONLY RM80.. Dont believe it? Go there and find it yourself.. Heee~

Note to STUDENTS - You can get any 3 FREE Education Books worth hundred over when you purchase a Logos Hope Bag for the price of RM40 only.. (Dont miss it!)

Last but not least, the cafe.. There is an International Cafe where you can relax and buy snacks, drinks or ice cream if you like.. (I like the the chocolate ice cream, taste like Mc'Donald Sundae cone)
