"Hup Seng" Fried Crackers


Have you try it before?? *blinking*

I know what's exactly in your mind right now.. Hehehe.. No, no, no.. It is not the latest product from Hup Seng.. Don't get me wrong..

Actually, this yummy snack was made by my sister few years ago when she was still in Malaysia.. Just to mention, she's a very good cooker and every time no matter what and how she cook, the result was UNBELIEVABLE.. Wohahaaa.. Super yummeh..!

Okay.. Lets make it short..
I had my leisure time on last weekend so i decided to make this.. Yup! Just like that.. ^____^

The ingredient is very simple.. To prepare the filling, you just need a chopped garlic, onion, prawn, potato as well and a lil bit of seasonings.. Saute all the ingredients and when its done, leave it cool for awhile.. Ok, now.. The challenging part begin.. You need 2 pcs of plain crackers (please don't use the one with sugar), take 1 of the cracker and spread the filling on it, you can make 1 or 1.5cm thick.. Then, take another piece of cracker and pressed it together.. Careful, not too hard or otherwise it will crack..

After a few minutes struggling with a gentle pressure on it, here is the result.......

Ahaa..! Do not feel relieved yet.. Still one more step to go.. It's 'fried time' baby.. You need egg and flour, mix it well.. When done, dip all the crackers into the mixture and by using a deep fryer, fried the crackers in approximately 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown in color.

Once completed, it will look like this..... Tadaaa! Crisp, moist and wallahhh..! =)))




Remarks:
Did you guys know why i call this as "Hup Seng fried crackers"?? Hmmm.. Heheh...
