Langkawi Trip 2 - Accommodation (Teratak Laman Bonda)

Assalamualaikum..

Haihhh.. Entah kenapa, makin lama makin baloq (malas) pulak nak update blog nih.. Mungkin kerana tahap ke'busy'an yang melampau-lampau agaknya.. Oklah, hari ni nak sambung entry yang lepas.. Fighting! :-)))

Once dapat kereta, keluar dari airport dan kami terus je cari petrol station. Yela, dah mentioned kan sebelum ni yang minyak kereta tu memang dah betul-betul berada di tahap paling kritikal dah, kalau tak isi, mau tak pasal kena tolak ramai-ramai.. Jenuh..

Settle semua tu, baru kami teruskan perjalanan ke Teratak Laman Bonda, tempat penginapan kami selama kat Langkawi. Homestay ni terletak di Kg Bukit Kemboja, dari airport ke tempat ni dekat je, lebih kurang dalam 10 minit. Nak cari pun senang, keluar dari airport, belok kanan lepas tu terus je sampai korang nampak masjid, lepas masjid tu belok kiri. Korang akan masuk jalan kampung, lurus je, boleh nampak signboard homestay tu kat sebelah kanan jalan, signboard tu memang besar, jangan risau.

Ni signboard Teratak Laman Bonda, besar dan jelas kan? Hehehe..

Homestay Teratak Laman Bonda ni ada 2 tempat, satu di Kg. Bukit Kemboja (dekat dengan airport) dan satu lagi di Taman Sentosa (dekat dengan Pekan Kuah) kalau tak salah. So boleh lah pilih yang mana satu, ikut kesesuaian masing-masing.

Oh ya, homestay ni cuma untuk orang muslim sahaja and it's very recommended to those yang datang dengan family. Sebab homestay ni ada banyak kemudahan dan harganya pun sangat berbaloi-baloi. Terasa seperti dirumah sendiri. Cewahhh..

TV tu ada Astro okay, takde la boring sangat kan.

Kat Kg. Bukit Kemboja ni ada 2 biji rumah, sebelah-sebelah. Kami duduk rumah yang no. 2.

See.. Rumah ni memang complete. Ada peti sejuk, seterika, meja makan, blander pun ada. Dalam peti sejuk tu ada kicap, mineral water dan.. Hmmm.. Tak ingat la. Pokoknya macam-macam ado.. Heheh..

Ada 3 bilik, ketiga-tiga bilik ada kipas dan master bedroom ada add on aircond.. Semua memang berebut nak duduk dalam bilik aircond tu.. Oh ya, bilik air ada 2, satu kat dapur dan satu lagi attached dengan master bedroom.

Ada disediakan sejadah dan telekung. Dan dont worry, untuk yang bawa budak kecik tu, kat sini ada disediakan buaian untuk baby tidur.

Tengok tu, ada minyak, beras, bawang, garam, gula, asam jawa, sudip, sudu garpu, pinggan, mangkuk, kuali semua ada. Sempoi kan? 

Semua peralatan dan bahan selamat digunakan tanpa was-was.

Dapur.. Ada periuk nasi dan cerek air.

Bahagian luar rumah. Warna cat homestay ni memang ceria-ceria belaka. Luar dalam semuanya menggunakan warna-warna pastel dan terang. I likeee..

Untuk sesiapa yang plan nak buat barbeku, jangan risau. Semuanya disediakan, arang pun ada okay.

Mesin basuh, dengan keadaan cuaca kat sini baju memang senang kering. Paham kan? :-))

Sebenarnya pihak homestay ni ada pakej sekali dengan MPV (Toyota Avanza), tapi memandangkan kami dah bayar deposit ke Anox Travel, jadi terpaksalah kami ambil homestay sahaja. Untuk pengetahuan korang, kalau ambil pakej (homestay + MPV), pakcik Arif (owner homestay) boleh bagi diskaun dan harganya pun sangat berpatutan.

Tempat ni overall ok. Cuma satu je, susah sikit nak cari gerai makan atau kedai runcit. Ada satu kedai runcit depan sikit daripada homestay ni, walking distance je. Tapi lebih baik think twice kalau nak beli kat situ, sebab harga mahal, takda tanda harga and some of the things kat situ dah expired. Ini keadaan untuk bulan Feb 2014, sekarang ni saya tak pasti la kedai tu dah ok ke belum. Better korang check dulu yer.

Untuk harga homestay ni, saya tak berapa nak ingat la. Yang saya ingat saya bayar deposit RM100, sampai sana baru bayar yang bakinya. Kalau tak salah RM200 semalam or maybe less than that. Actually the exact price is RM250/night (update on Dec 09th, 2015, selepas membelek travel diary 2014 yang dah berhabuk). Maaf eh, betul-betul tak ingat ni, maklumlah cerita dah basi dah pun. Aduh.. Teruk betul.

Langkawi Trip 1 - Car Rental in Langkawi

The first post for the first year of 2014..

I just wish i could kick away and let the indolence flying through the Pacific Ocean immediately..! **smack forehead**

Okay, enough with that ferocious action. Here the trip begin....... :-)))

We started our 2014 mood with a very happy, enjoy and HOT family trip that ever happened in my life. There were 11 people involved in this 5D4N journey in Langkawi. Actually this was my first time planning an itinerary for a group. Although it was a little difficult as compared to individual (solo) travel plans, but at the end of the trip, i could feel the satisfaction. Due to the trip this time involved children and disabled person, thus, places visited were also very limited. I have tried my best to make them happy, and yes, they were happy.. *big grin*

We went there by plane as AirAsia came out with a promotion price for domestic fly from Penang last year. It was only RM78/guest which really cheap i guess and fast too (less than 20 minutes). If you take ferry from Penang to Langkawi via Pulau Payar, two way ticket will cost you around  RM100+ for adult and RM80+ for children and the journey will take about 2 hrs 30 minutes approx. So worth it right?

We reached Langkawi Airport around 5pm, but we ended up waited for our car like almost 30 minutes. Actually it was my mistake, i should've call that car rental service owner when i'm at Penang Airport, but i forgot.

Okay, these are my review on the selected service.

Avanza - Anox Travel

Saga BLM - Anox Travel

1/ I booked 2 cars (Avanza and Saga BLM) with Anox Travel because i found out their rate are more cheaper compared to others.

2/ They offer me RM90/day for Avanza and RM70/day for Saga BLM. Upon booking you are requested to pay deposit for RM50/car, like other places, the purpose is to secure your booking.

3/ Both car condition was okay and acceptable.

4/ Few thing that need to improve.
- 1. The car was dusty.
*Please at least wash your car before hand it to customer.*
- 2. Fuel tank was almost empty.
*It's quite risky especially to those who are 'new' in this place because the distance between one petrol station to another is very far. The first place we went once we moved out from the airport was petrol station.*

5/ On the 2nd day, Saga BLM broke down. Luckily at that time we were still at our guesthouse, i called up the owner and he said he will send over another car with no extra charges. We have waited for almost 2 hours and finally the replacement car arrived (Proton Iswara), but it was quite disappointing. No aircond, fuel gauge are not working and dusty.. Haihhh... What a bad day... *wiping sweat*

So, overall rating out of 10 is...... 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 ! Muahahaha... *evil laugh*

Family Outing at Cinta Sayang Resort, Sungai Petani

Hello.. I'm back!  ^____^

After a long nap, now I woke up with a new posting.. Sorry guys… Heee~

Ok, lets start..

Basically this is not a new story, i went there during ‘Hari Raya’ holidays few weeks ago.. With family of course, and cousins.. This is only 1 day outing as we did not plan for it but seriously the day was awesome!

From my cousin’s house to Cinta Sayang Resort only take about 10 minutes drive. Arrived there around 3pm, me and the kiddo’s cant wait any longer, they were very eager to jump into the pool and so do i.. Yes! Our mission that day was swimming with no limits.. Hahaha.. I love swimming and I can spend for hours in the water without any problem.. (as long as my legs did not cramp) Uff..! It’s so painful..

Lil bit info about Cinta Sayang Resort.. They have 298 spacious guest rooms and suite and the room rate is as low as RM180 and above. Besides swimming pool, there are lots of facilities to cater their guest needs including tennis, golf, gym, sauna, massage and reflexology, paintball, archery, horse riding and many more! Wohoo.. I like that.. (grin)

Oh ya.. Another important info that you need to know.. Cinta Sayang is well-known for its Golf Academy where budding golf talents from all over the world come here to be trained by professionals.
