Sate Jawa (Javanese Satay) @ Relau, Bayan Baru

I am one of the satay lovers and i know exactly how does a good and delicious satay taste like.. Heheh.. If you ask me what kind of satay do i like the most.. I'll say "Sate Padang!!".. :-))))

No, no, no.. Though i like Sate Padang, but it doesn't mean that i don't like Malaysian Satay.. The different between this two satay is on its gravy.. Haaaa.. (I like this part so much..) As we all know our local satay would always served with typical 'Kuah Kacang' but not for Sate Padang, they have a very thick spicy yellow sauce and its soooo yummy!

Ait! I thought our entry today is about Javanese Satay, but why i keep talking about Sate Padang.. Heheh.. Ok, switch channel.. Teettt.. Actually 'Sate Jawa' is quite similar to Malaysian Satay.. The gravy also made from peanut.. But its more spicy and it come with 'Gulai Tulang' (Bone Curry / Bone Stew).. I bet you, this is so good and once you eat, you will want it again and again... ^____^

How to Remove Underarm Odor

Yup!
Underarm Odor... Wondering why suddenly i want to talk about it?

This is one of the things that i HATE the most when i have to take a public bus during "peak hours", which is between 7 to 8pm..

Ok, lets make it simple.. I was in a hurry to meet someone somewhere near PISA (Penang International Sports Arena) yesterday.. So, instead of walking down there, i decided to take a bus even though the distance from Bukit Jambul to PISA only takes 5 minutes. Moreover, the bus was already there when i arrived.

After paying the ticket, i walked in to the center near to the exit door.. This time i had to stand (actually not "this time" but most of the time) because the bus was full with people especially foreigners. Somehow, when i was busy texting, suddenly i smelled something strong.. It was so intense! Stinky, unpleasant and bluuekkkkk..! My head felt dizzy and i nearly collapse! Oh my.. I just don't care where the hell was that bittery sour smell came from but whoever it is, please, please, pleaseeee shave your armpits and apply deodorant laaa.. Luckily i do not know Kung-fu, if not sure i jump out of the bus right away..

Hah! What a terrible and unlucky day for me... :-(((

Remove Underarm Odor in a Traditional Way

1st Method
Take the waste coconut, grime on the armpits and leave for five minutes, then rinse with clean water. Do it twice a week.

2nd Method
Boiled some calamanci leaves with a little water, filtered the water and drink every day.

3rd Method
Pound betel leaves with a little alum (tawas) until it become a fine paste, then grime on the armpit. Leave a few minutes before bath, clean with soap and normal water twice a week.

NOTE:
Believe it or not, fatty foods and foods heavy in garlic, curry and onions can contribute to body and underarm odor. These foods can seep through your pores and add to the bad smell the bacteria produce. Research also led some to believe red meat can add to offensive underarm odor. Finally, foods like red peppers that make you sweat don't help in you goal of staying dry. (Source: Discovery Health)

A Rational Reason of Wearing "Hijab"

It's been more than 3 times i was asked by my friends who were non-muslim about why i didn't wearing a hijab (veil) like other Muslim women out there..

Honestly i'm quite awkward with this question because i'm not the one who knows clearly about religious tenets like those Ustazah and Muslim scholars.. I just know the basic and i still have many more to learn..

BUT, i try to answer it in a simple language and verse so that it would be easy for them to understand. I guess so.. Heheh..

While i'm searching the verses on why Muslim women have to wear hijab which is more than just a head cover, i found this..

It's because God ordered them to do so in two places in the Qur'an, and because Prophet Muhammad also ordered it. The Qur'an says in Surah 24, verses 30 - 31 what means:

~ "And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty that they should not display their beauty and ornaments excepts what (must ordinarily) appear thereof that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband fathers, their son, their husband's son, their brothers or their brother's son, or their sister's sons, or their women, or the slaves whom their right hand possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of shame of sex and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O ye Believers! Turn ye all together towards Allah, that ye may attain Bliss." ~

Me wearing hijab on the 1st day of Hari Raya

NOTE:
For me, whether you want to wear veil or not is all up to the individual perception and understanding. I believe that there will be an extra credits waiting for you if you follow the rule with sincerity.. Just make sure that there is no element of coercion in making goodness..

Mark Zuckerberg Married to Priscilla Chan

Don't tell me you do not know who is Mark Zuckerberg... *__*

This Facebook founder and CEO announced the happy news with an update on his Facebook timeline yesterday..

Zuckerberg (28) and Priscilla (27) tied the knot at a small ceremony in his backyard at Palo Alto home in front of less than 100 guests, who thought they were attending a party to celebrate Priscilla's graduation from UC San Francisco's medical school.

The couple met at Harvard and have been together for more than nine years. The authorized source said the wedding ring features a simple ruby that Zuckerberg designed himself and the ceremony was catered by a few of the couple's favorite area restaurants, with desserts coming from L.A. Burdick Chocolate which the couple is reported to have enjoyed on their very first date together.

With their adopted Hungarian sheepdog named Beast

The wedding comes just a day after Facebook went public where Facebook's stock closed Friday at $38.23, up 23 cents from Thursday night's pricing. That means the company has a market value of about $105 billion, more than Amazon.com, Mc Donald's and Silicon Valley icons Hewlett-Packard and Cisco.. Which means Zuckerberg has a stake worth around $19.3 billion!

NOTE:
Hellooo.. She just married to one of the richest men in the world.. 19 billion dollars! Wow... Anyway, congratulations to both of them.. :-)

The Most Handsome Guy in the World

Hey peeps!

According to you, who is the most handsome and charming guy do you ever know? It doesn't matter if he didn't know you, as long as he exist.. Hehehe..

Actually handsome is something subjective, it can be interpreted in various ways and styles. Some judge handsome by a physical appearance and some judge it by their internal nature. To me, 'handsome' cover both. Appearance and attitude are equally important role to us. Do not misunderstand, i mean 'appearance' here is in the sense of modesty. It's all about the acceptance of both party, as long as both can live with, it will be considered good.

Someone have said to me, "No need to search for a handsome guy, it doesn't matter if he is bald or old, because the important is what is in his pocket, whether it is thick or thin and NOT the look. Remember, 'handsome' can't buy good food.."

And i was like... Uhmm.. (tilt the lips, raising eyebrows)

Ok, maybe that can make your life secure, but what is merely playing in my mind now is.. How are you going to go through life if you do not love or like your partner?? Try to imagine this situation, you are forced to go out with someone you doesn't like, and when you're walking together, he was trying to hold your hand, what would you do? Do you just let it or quickly release it? So.. Now you tell me, how you want to live with someone based on what you see and not what you feel.

Opst..! I think i began to babbling out of the title.. Heheh.. Ok, stop right here and continue with our main subject..

Below is a few guys which i consider 'handsome'.. Perhaps he may not meet your taste, but we still can share right? Hehehe.. Let me know who do you think handsome, he can be other than my selection... :-))

Shah Rukh Khan

Lee Dong Wook

Josh Groban

Wentworth Miller

Takuya Kimura

Aaron Kwok

Richard Gere
NOTE:
There's a different between 'handsome' and 'beautiful'.. Shall discuss and share out all the beautiful guy on the next entry.. ^___^

The meaning of Wesak

First of all i want to wish,

HAPPY WESAK DAY

to all Buddhists all over the world..

This picture was taken during my visit to Kek Lok Si Temple recently

Yaaa... I know i'm late, but at least i'm not TOO late.. Right? Besides, there are three more countries which will be celebrating wesak today (6th May, 2012) and they are Indonesia, Nepal and India.. ^___^

With the concept of 1 Malaysia, i think we should know and learn the custom and cultures of other races. This will bring us among the people. After all, learning and sharing is a charity that will not lose anyone.. Hehehe..

Wesak is a traditional ritual celebrated by Buddhists in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and the South East Asian countries of Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Burma and Indonesia. Informally called "Buddha's Birthday" and it actually encompasses the birth, enlightenment and passing away of Gautama Buddha.

The following are some of the ways in the lead of Wesak Day celebration by a few different countries:

In Malaysia
- Celebration begin at dawn when devotees gather at the Buddhist temples to meditate on the Eight Precepts. Donations by giving food to the needy, offering of incense, joss sticks and prayers are carried out. The sutras are chanted in unison by monks in saffron robes. The celebration is highlighted by a candle procession.

In Indonesia
- Will be held at Borobudur Temple, a temple that is well known as one of the Eight Wonders of the World. Begin with the lighting torch in the Mrapen Eternal Fire - eternal flame that came out from the soil (stone)Thousands of Buddhist joined in a world-wide meditation on the moment of Wesak.

In Japan
- Celebrate Buddha's birthday by pouring ama cha, a sweet tea made of Hydrangea (credit to Kesenya for the picture) on statue. Actually it is based on a legend that a dragon appeared in the sky on his birthday and poured soma (was a ritual drink prepared by extracting juice from the stalks of a certain plant) over him.

Hydrangea

In Sri Lanka
- During the week, the selling of alcohol and fresh meat is prohibited, all liquor shops and slaughter houses are closed by government orders. The colourful lanterns called Vesak koodu are hung along the streets and in front of homes. Besides, there were a food stalls set up by Buddhist devotees to provide free food and drinks to passersby.

In Singapore
- The day starts with chanting of the sutras by saffronclad monks, while devotees visit the temples to pray and meditate and to make offerings. Freeing of caged birds and animals, visiting and giving alms to the poor and needy, while some Buddhist youth organize mass blood donation at hospitals. The celebration concludes with a candlelit procession through the streets.

In India
- Many Buddhist will visit temples and spend all day in one or more temples to listen monks give talks and recite ancient verses. Displayed a small statue of Buddha as a baby and the statue is placed in a basin filled with water and decorated with flowers. Most of them will pay special attention to Buddha's teaching during Wesak. They may wear white robes and only eat vegetarian food on and around Wesak.

In Vietnam
- After the monk ended his prayer, the attendants will released a balloons to wish for the world's peace. The monastery will be decorated by beautiful flower garlands. Some youngsters drew Buddhist flags on their faces and some paraded the streets by bicycles decorated with flags and flowers.

NOTE:
In general, it is all about the importance and belief in practicing of moral values, goodness and kindness to all living things on this earth.

Avoid Dry and Peeling Lips

Hey ya.. :-)

I'm pretty sure a lot of people out there may have a problem with CHAPPED LIPS.. Here i have some tips to overcome this problem.. Don't worry, i got all these information from those who are experienced.. Hehehe..

Oh ya, this is not just for women, men can even try it.. Especially those who are smoking.. ^___^

Smooth and silky lips

Lips treatment:

1. Dry and peeling lips
- Just apply pure honey on the lips every night before bed. Lips will not dry and lifeless pale lips will turn red. The use of natural / pure honey is important to avoid the presence of ants.

2. Chapped lips
- Drink warm water mixed with brown sugar or palm sugar and a bit of tamarind juice. Drink it several times a day and the chapped lips will soon recover.

3. Make lips red
- Apply a ginger cake that has been pounded slowly on the lips every day.

or..

- Take some toothpaste and rub it on the lips every night before bed.

Note:
The most effective, efficient and long lasting way is to drink 10 liters of plain water every day! =)))

KFC Krushers with Classic Chipsmore Crunch Flavor

Holla! :-)

As usual once a month i'll drop by to KFC for meditation.. Heheh.. Just kidding.. Frankly speaking, i don't like KFC, it's not that i really DON'T like, but you know.. I am more prefer to have a Mc'D rather than KFC.. But, because of the place, i mean the site, the condition, it's so convenience, suitable for me to loitering alone for an hours while talking on the phone (it's one of my bad habits), and for that reason of course i've to order something right?

My favorite place is the one which is near the window

Normally i'll have a chicken burger with fries and a cup of Pepsi but yesterday somehow i choose Happy Meal which consist of chicken burger, french fries, milo and a toy.. Hahah.. Ya, i got a toy.. Yay! *__*

Happy Meal + Krushers

On top of that, i added Krushers in the list.. Hehe.. At first i want to try Yogurt Blueberry Blast, but did not so because at that time i feel like i want to have something chocolatey.. So i choose Classic Chipsmore Crunch..

And surprisingly, it was so delicious! It filled with chocolate and the best part is you can taste the crispy chunky almonds! I love it soooo much...! It was like eating chipsmore which you dunked into a Milo.. Yummy! (drooling)

*Shall look forward to it next month.. :-)))

Learning Japanese - Personal Noun

Guys.. O-genki desu ka? (oh-gen-kee dess kah).. It mean, "How are you?"..  =)
Shall we continue our learning today..? Okay, now we want to learn how to introduce ourselves to others..

To me
Watashi ni (Wah-tah-she nee)

- Ni (nee) is a grammatical particle that can indicate that the proceeding word is the indirect object of the action. In this instance ni changes "I" to "me" as in "to me" or "for me".

My / Mine
Watashi no (Wah-tah-she no)

- No (no) is a grammatical particle that can change what precedes it to the possessive case. In this example, adding no to watashi changes "I" to "my" or "mine".

We / Our, ours
Watashi-tachi (Wah-tah-she-tah-chee) / Watashi-tachi no (Wah-tah-she-tah-chee no)

- Adding -tachi (-tah-chee) to personal pronouns makes them plural.

Am / Is / Are
Desu (dess)

- Desu (dess) is a polite word without meaning, but can be thought of as functioning like the verb "to be" in English. They are essential for making correct, complete sentences in Japanese as the English "I am", "you are", "he is" and so forth.

Am not / Is not / Are not
De wa arimasen (day wah ah-ree-mah-sen)

Was / Were
Deshita (desh-tah)

Was not / Were not

Watashi no namae wa Sumisu de wa arimasen (wah-tah-she no nah-my wah sue-me-sue day wah ah-ree-mah-sen)

What
Nan (nahn) / Nani (nahn-nee)

You / Your, yours
Anata (ah-nah-tah) / Anata no (ah-nah-tah no)

- The word anata (ah-nah-tah) is normally best avoided, since it can convey inappropriate familiarity.

What is Leukemia?

Before this, i just know that Leukemia is a type of blood cancer but i do not know the details.. Yes, people will not know the full extent of things until they experienced it them-self..

Leukemia is a type of cancer of the blood or bone marrow characterized by an abnormal increase of immature white blood cells called "blasts". Leukemia is a broad term covering a spectrum of diseases. In turn, it is part of the even broader group of diseases affecting the blood, bone marrow, and lymphoid system (part of the circulatory system, comprising a network of conduits called lymphatic vessels that carry a clear fluid called lymph unidirectionally toward the heart), which are all known as hematological neoplasms.

Referring to 2000 record, approximately 256,000 children and adults around the world developed some form of leukemia, and 209,000 died from it.

Clinically and pathologically, leukemia is subdivided into a variety of large groups. The first division is between its acute and chronic form.

Type of Leukemia

Acute leukemia
- Characterized by a rapid increase in the numbers of immature blood cells.
- Crowding due to such cells makes the bone marrow unable to produce healthy blood cells.
- Immediate treatment is required.
- Most common forms of leukemia in children.

Chronic leukemia
- Characterized by the excessive build up of relatively mature, but still abnormal, white blood cells.
- Taking months or year to progress, the cells are produced at a much higher rate than normal, resulting in many abnormal white blood cells.
- Need to monitored for some time before treatment to ensure maximum effectiveness of therapy.
- Mostly occurs in older people.

Additionally, the diseases are subdivided according to which kind of blood cell is affected. This split divides leukemia into lymphoblastic or lymphocytic leukemias and myeloid or myelogenous leukemias.

*Shall continue more details regarding ALL..

Learning Japanese - Greeting

Hello peeps! Today we're going to learn a lil bit of Japanese words.. :-)

Ya, i know.. It's been quite some time i didn't post about my Korean and Mandarin.. But don't worry, i'll make sure that i post it soon.. Heheh..

Lets start..

Good Morning
Ohayo gozaimasu (oh-hai-yoe go-za-mahss)

- Unlike the English "Good Morning", which can be used right up until lunchtime, ohayo gozaimasu is normally only said when you meet someone first thing in the morning, up until about 11am.

Good Afternoon
Konnichi wa (kone-nee-chee-wah)

Good Evening
Konban wa (kome-bahn wah)

Thank you very much
Domo arigato (doe-moe ah-ree-gah-toe)

Pardon me / Excuse me / I'm sorry / Thank you
Sumimasen (sue-me-mah-sen)

- Because of its variety meanings, sumimasen is an extremely useful word. Use it liberally. It is often shortened to simasen.

Please (i)
Dozo (doe-zoe)

- This is one of the many words that means "please" in Japanese. Dozo is used in the sense of "please go first", "please continue" or "after you".

Please (ii)
Kudasai (koo-dah-sai)

- This word for "please give me" is almost never used by itself. Rather, it normally follows the command form of verbs as in tabete kudasai (tah-bay-tay koo-dah-sai), "please eat" or nonde kudasai (noan-day koo-dah-sai), "please drink". It also used with nouns to convey the meaning "please", as in "please bring me water" or "please hand me that".

I (i)
Watashi (wah-tah-she)

- There are several commonly used term in Japanese for the word "I", based on gender and other factors, but watashi is common and can be used by anyone in any situation.

Russell Peters in Malaysia

Hey guys!

Do you know who is Russell Peters? Don't get confuse between Russell Peters and Peter Russell okay. Peter Russell is a psychology speaker who talks about spiritual, consciousness, science, earth and environment, etc..  He is well known in his psychology of meditation.. On his official website, he got mentioned that,

"2012 marks the end of the Mayan calendar's 5125-year cycle, leading many to prophecy this as a time of great change, for some the end of Western civilization, for others a time of transformation and renewal. Whatever may or may not happen in 2012, it is clear that we a living through a critical period of human history, and the need for widespread shift in human thinking and value is becoming increasingly apparent. From this perspective, 2012 is a symbol of the times we are passing through. It represents the temporal epi-center of a cultural earthquake, whose reverberations are getting stronger day by day."

I don't know why, but i'm started to think about 2012 movie.. (my stomach getting nervous) Okay, enough about Peter Russell.. Now back to the main subject..

Russell Peter

Russell Peter is a famous Canadian-India comedian, actor and disc jockey. He began performing in Toronto in 1989 and has been nominated for four Gemini Awards.

Russell Peter's stand-up performances are mostly made up of observational comedy where he uses humor to highlight racial, ethnic, class and cultural stereotypes. He often refers his own life experiences growing up in an Indian family and impersonates various English accents of different group in his act to poke fun at each group.

Peters in widely known for his comedy punchlines "Somebody gonna get a hurt real bad" in which he tells a jock about his childhood with a traditional Indian father who would use corporal punishment and "Be a man!" while imitating an Asian trying to get him to pay more for an item at a shop.

According to Forbes.com, Peters earned an estimated $15 million between June 2009 and June 2010, continuing his run as one of the highest-paid comedians after earning an estimated $10 million in the prior year's report. He was ranked as the 7th highest paid comedian by Forbes.

Russell Peter will be in Malaysia soon! The tickets will be sold online from RM128 right up to RM438, i heard that the tickets sold out within an hour after tickets are made publicly available on-line on April 18th last week. Ermm... Maybe you can ask anyone who can't make it, get them to sell it to you.. =))

Holiday in Medan, Indonesia

Penang - Medan - Lake Toba

That was the main route for my journey on December last year.. Hehehe.. Just manage to find time to update it in here.. Sorry guys, hope it's not too late to share.. :-)

Overall, the holiday was SUPERB..!Although i had to finish the journey within 1 week time, but seriously the experience that i had in every second were such an ENJOYABLE moment and it's GREAT..

Actually i booked the air ticket quite late, so the fare that i paid was a little more expensive than it should. This is the 2nd time i fly with Air Asia and so far the airlines was always punctual.. I have no comment about the food, cos the journey there only took about 40 to 45 minutes and sometimes it can be early than that depending  on the weather..

I reached Polonia Airport at night time and here i would like to give you some advice, when you arrived at the airport, you will find a few people who want to offer lifting services, but DO NOT allow them to do so, just say "Thank You", get your luggage and hurry walk out from there. The same goes when you are outside, don't bother about people who offer you a Taxi service, because the cost will be double and sometimes 3 times higher than the actual price.. Just take 'angkut' (it's similar to a van or mini bus), cheap and safe.. Hehehe..

Ok, enough with that.. Lets go to the main story..  =))

I went to Lake Toba with my foster sister and she's Indonesian, so i do not have to worry about anything.. Heheh.. The distance from Medan to Lake Toba is about 4 hours plus, i bet your exhaustion in the course will disappear once you see the beauty of Lake Toba.. Really!!

Ok, for your information.. Lake Toba is a lake and super volcano. The lake is 100 kilometers long and 30 kilometers wide, and 505 meters at its deepest point. Located in the middle of the northern part of the Indonesian Island of Sumatra. It is the largest lake in Indonesia and the largest volcanic lake in the world.

Arrived in Parapat - Tigaraja, we took a boat to TukTuk at Samosir Island, Samosir Island is a large volcanic island in Lake Toba, its like an island within an island.. (Do you understand to what i'm trying to say?)

Tiga Raja Jetty in Parapat

On the boat.. Can you see the Indonesia flag behind there..?

My sis was busy chatting with the stewed peanuts seller on the boat.. Yummy!

Beautiful scenery

Boat ride from Parapat to TukTuk is less than 30 minutes.. I think so... Heheh.. Because i'm so fascinated by the views of the islands there, i can feel that the time passed too fast! Sorry guys.. :-)

One of the island in Lake Toba

I think they came here for honeymoon.. Hehehe..

One of the chalet in TukTuk

Another chalet in TukTuk, look at that stairs.. It's nice right?

Most of the chalets here adopt the characteristics of Batak house

Same as this one..

In TukTuk, we stayed at Carolina Hotel for 3 nights.. Guess what, we only paid around RM60 per night!! It's damn cheap..! They have 49 rooms set in a beautiful tropical garden, a restaurant with a veranda overlooking the lake. Their staff are very helpful and friendly. They have a lake area for swimming (fresh water of course, so you do not have to worry about fear of ingesting salt water, hehehe..) with a diving board and pontoon to relax.. Last but not least, they also offer motorbike rental and free wifi in the restaurant area (the speed might be quite slow, but still ok..) Heheh.. Overall, it is worth! I like it and i will definitely choose to stay there again..

What a nice building....

Took a nap before going out for dinner

My last meal in Carolina.. By the way, i like their sambal (not in the picture).. It's super hot..! :-)

First day at TukTuk, we just walked around the hotel while enjoying the beauty of the garden. The fresh air will make you feel very natural and comfortable.. Every corner of this place is very stunning.. Waaaaa.. I just miss this place so much! :-(

Swimming area (picture taken from our balcony)..

If you want to know, the management of this hotel has set a rule which every each of the resident here are not allowed to make noise after 9pm.. That's why the atmosphere here is very quite at night.. =)

Second day at TukTuk, we woke up early morning and start our journey around the island and for this reason, we rent a motor for a full day (9am - 6pm) which cost us around RM25.. Once again, i would like to emphasize here that it is very cheap!!

As i said, on that day we went around the island, we just stop at interesting places with beautiful scenery to take photographs. You guys imagine, from 9am - 6pm, we only managed to visit a quarter of the island!! Haihhh... Soooo tired, my back and hip all pain, i'm very sure my sister's condition must be more severe.. Hahah.. What a bad luck to have a BIG sister like me.. =))) Pity her...

Spectacular view of Lake Toba

Fascinated.....

I'm so amazed, speechless....!

Impressive sight

Incredibly relieving

Soothing....

This picture was taken when we stopped for a quick rest, this is the only stall at the top of the hill..

Hill paddy planting area

This motorcycle was soooo worthy to us! Without it, we cant go much further.. Thanks bike! :-)

Along the way you may see there a lot of big statue which is actually their cemeteries for Batak people ancestors..

You can see a buffalo anywhere and everywhere you go..  The best thing is, they will not chase after you.. ;-)

We stopped by at Tomok to had our lunch there, most of the Batak people is Christian, so.. we have to be more careful on the food, but dont worry, it is not that hard to find 'halal' food here.. After filling the hungry stomach, we walked through the row of shops and bought a lots of souvenirs.. Seriously our backpack was full of t-shirs, key chains, batik cloth, etc... Luckily my sister know the local language, so it's very easy for us to deal with the traders.. My sister was good at bargaining thingy.. Heheheh..

We also spend some time to visit Batak Museum at Simanindo, i found that Batak house is very unique because we can only see the stairs to the house but we cannot see the door because the door was blocked by a wall. I managed to climbed the stairs and take a look inside the Batak house and i can feel the spirit of the traditional culture which is still well protected..

Batak Museum

Third day at TukTuk, we went over to Parapat by boat.. Just walked aimlessly, looking for delicious food.. Nothing much to do, went back to the hotel, changed our cloth and 'dushhhhhhhh...', hehehe.. jumped into the lake.. Waaaaa.. The water is sooooo cold, my sister cant even step into it, she was shivering.. And i... Cant stop laughing at her.. Hahaha..

Road conditions in Parapat

Chevrolet.. Common brand in Indonesia...

After all... Every moment that i captured in this place is very valuable, the serenity that i get here might be very difficult to find elsewhere.. Hopefully Lake Toba natural beauty will remain protected.. :-)
