Believe it or not, the Guinness World Records has officially recognised the Trinidad Scorpion Butch T as the hottest chilli on the planet.

From what i know, late last year the Naga Viper which was ceated in England by chilli farmer Gerald Fowler of The Chilli Pepper Company based in Cark, Cumbria was crowned the world's hottest chilli pepper. However only a few months later the Naga Viper has been dethroned as it was recently announced that the Trinidad Scorpion Butch T is the world's hottest chilli pepper with slightly difference of 0.08 million SHU (Scoville Heat Units) and almost 300 times hotter than the Jalapenos used in Tabasco sause!
